IBS Symptoms

Postby katieanne2490 » Mon Sep 19, 2011 10:37 pm

For at least the last year, I have had a lot of stomach problems and have found that I have excruciating pains in my stomach if i am not able to go to the toilet. I have never really thought much about this, but when hearing about IBS on television I really feel as if I may be suffering with this. I have had problems with constipation and feel the pain is only ever cured when I am able to excrete.
I am not sure if there is a link between PA and IBS, or in fact how common it is within young female adults. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, which to be honest i've been putting off for a while out of embarrassment. Are there any particular tests that are done to diagnose or rule out IBS?

Thankyou xox
