What would you change in life

Postby lozza » Wed May 23, 2012 5:31 pm

ok, i am bored at work, doing yet another concert so i have been thinking....

" what would you change in life, if you could ?" only 1 wish !

ideas that came to mind:

- would it be not to have PA or something like giving up work and go around the world

i'm not really sure what i would pick to be honest,

anyone else have any thoughts?

best wishes

I would have dad free of dementia :confusion-confused:

Both of my parents were diagnosed with PA. Mum is on 2 monthly injections and relatively OK. Dad progressed to dementia and sadly died 14/2/13. Despite my own levels being 'normal' I have some symptoms. Jac.

Without doubt it would be to have an accurate and reliable B12 Test introduced. Then I wouldn't have to deal with the fallout of people being misdiagnosed and undiagnosed.

Actually i know what i would change- i would like my mum to be well, even if this was for one day. As i have never seen her well and feel crap that i can't do anything about this.

best wishes

I had no idea when I was 13 and gave up eating meat what that decision might do to my future health. Looking back, I wish I had never become vegetarian.

Philanthropic RCT research that produces cures rather than treatments.

In my opinion, philanthropy went out the window in this country when The Sunday Times begat the Rich List & such like. In the past, wealth was demonstrated by gifting. Nowadays, a Rich List means the wealthiest dare not build medical facilities & universities for fear of losing their place in the top one hundred!

Please think about signing this E Petition which urgently needs 10,000 signatures by March.
Besides being a noble cause in its own right, many of these defenceless people could suffer from undiagnosed B12 Deficiency.

I can't help thinking there but for the grace of God, go I.

I would change the fact that I wasn't with my Mum when she died. I will always regret it.

Hi Fern

This was something special to me too and 'luckily' I was able to be with dad for his last few hours! I am so sorry you didn't manage it with your mum :romance-grouphug:
