I am a support person for my daughter who was diagnosed with PA and Folate Anaemia in 1994, at the age of 27. Another daughter diagnosed with Hashimotos 2010 but she doesn't have PA.

No pain at all at mo, had these horrible burning hip joints, but all gone for a while now! Do have issues with my right foot, not pain though, more not part of me..second toe feels like its missing, gab there, I can not move much there, can not spread my toes on right foot and ankle reflex is gone. But have broken bones in both feet so never know what damage is caused by what realy.

My pain is primarily in my wrists, fingers and thumbs. Comes and goes when my level is low. Very severe pain, mostly in the evenings and night.
Now I am on weekly injections, and haven't had these pains for awhile! Jody

Thanks, Paul - Riding the B12D roller coaster while challenged by dysgraphia (I correctly spell the wrong word when my B12 is low).

As I've had back and neck surgery I assumed the the pain was due to that. Pain, stiffness, sore muscles, sciatica always worse on the right but since starting B12 jabs, a lot of the pain has gone. The sciatica, which was probably the worst, always on the right (buttock and usually down front of leg to the knee, sometimes the back of), is rare now as is a lot of the lower back pain. I used to get really bad lower back pain when I needed to empty my bladder - now gone since jabs. The pain I do still have is mostly in or around my right shoulder and not quite so much, neck, which gets worse when I am low. I also used to get a very numb right foot/leg, especially when driving but this is noticeably reduced now too.
